vingt-huit

I had a WONDERFUL spring break! I missed Steven a little, he was in Florida all week. It was still really nice to be at home for an entire week and visit with my family! During my spring break I got the chance to go to work with my mom and job shadow the Speech Pathologist there, since that is what I plan to go to graduate school for. It was fun! I am glad I had the opportunity! I was also able to spend time with my friend Gina who I hardly ever get to see! It was nice.

The weekend I came home Twilight came out on DVD, so of course I had to buy it. I bought the three disc set that had many hours of special bonus features! We watched all of it! We got to sit down in our basement. It is all different now, my mom bought new carpet and had it installed before I got home on Friday! We rearranged it and there is a lot more room now! It was great! :)

I also went to the Magic House with my mom, aunt, sister and my two little cousins. It was so much fun! I haven't been there in a long time! It brought back so many memories from when I was little! There were many new additions as well that were very cool! It was a blast!

I am back in Columbia now, but Easter is coming up soon so I will be going home for that! Just 7 weeks left in the Semester! I can't believe it! Summer is almost here! Hope everyone is having a Happy Spring! Ciao!

Twenty-seven

15 random things about myself...

1. I absolutely hate the sound of a fire alarm or tornado siren.

2. I prefer my coffee a little strong, with a bit of skim milk.

3. I want to go to Europe at some point in my life. Italy would be great since I am taking Italian.

4. I love writing letters and sending them through the mail. It's more special that way. I have been trying to do this more often.

5. I have recently discovered my love for random musical instruments, such as the cello or the oboe. I appreciate them more.

6. At the moment I am reading a book called, "The Memoirs of Jane Austen". I just adore Jane Austen novels.

7. I absolutely love, love, love...Edward Cullen, or maybe I love Rob Pattinson. It is hard to tell sometimes.

8. When I am in a restaurant and asked if I would like to sit at a booth or a table, I will most likely answer, "booth please".

9. I unfortunately lack artistic ability when it comes to drawing or painting. I love to watch people draw and paint though. I also love admiring their finished works of art.

10. I prefer to write with mechanical pencils that have .7 mm led.

11. I am curious to know what it is like to put in and wear contacts. I am not sure if I would like it or not, probably not...just curious.

12. I love root beer floats.

13. I am allergic to soy milk.

14. I sometimes enjoy doing an intense amount of homework.

15. I like to be outside right before a thunder storm.

20six

The weather has been amazing here in Missouri! We experienced many different parks here in Columbia. On Thursday Karlee (my cousin), Steven, and I all went to a park called Pinnacle Youth Park...and we climbed these huge rock bluffs! It was quite an adventure! On Friday, right after classes let out, we went to Stephen's Lake Park. There is one pavilion that has a fire pit that anyone can use on a first come, first serve basis! The night before we bought some hot dogs, a watermelon, marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers! We made it to the park just in time to get the fire pit! Karlee, my roommate Margaret, and I all work
ed to start a fire! Then we gathered some sticks and carved the ends to make skewers to cook our hot dogs and marshmallows on! We brought a Frisbee and a ball to play with and Karlee's dog, Punch came too! Steven came a little later and brought a few of his friends with him! We all had a really good time! It was so much fun! I am loving this warm weather!

Venticinque

I registered for classes today! I got all the classes I wanted! I am super excited! I will only be going to classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays next semester (Fall 09). I am going to have a four day weekend every week! :) I am taking Structure of American English, Anatomy and Physiology of the Speech Mechanism, Behavior Genetics, and my capstone Human Cognition. They all sound very interesting and I hope I am able to do well in all of them. Well I have to finish up an outline for my Normal Language Development paper! Hope you are all having a good week! Ciao!
