I am finally home for Christmas and I am so happy to be home! I worked so hard all semester and I am glad to finally have a break. I ended up with all B's and one A for the semester! When I got home from Columbia my family and I went to Historic St. Charles. We went to the antique shops that were all decked out for the holidays. It was so much fun. Afterwards we all went out to eat at Pasta House...so good! On Monday night Laura, Jordan, and I went down to the Hahn's house and we had some Christmas Joy! We all decorated a gingerbread house and made Christmas shaped chocolates. After all our hard work and creativity in the kitchen we all had some hot chocolate! It was so much fun and a great way to get into the spirit of Christmas! Yesterday Steve and Zack came over to exchange Christmas gifts. I gave Steve a really nice sweater and he gave me some slippers, black nail polish, and a diamond necklace! It is so beautiful! I was really suprised! Well today is Christmas Eve! Tonight my family and I will eat snacks and watch "A Child's Christmas in Wales" and "It's a Wonderful Life"...two of my favorites! I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!

Last night I saw the Magic Tree! It was so amazing! For the past fourteen years this family in Columbia decorates a crab apple tree in their front yard! The first year they decorated the tree it took 3000 lights. Now it takes about 7500 lights! It was nice to get away from my homework last night and admire this beautiful tree! :) Only 11 more days until I get to come home for Christmas! I can't wait!!!

Finals are coming up really soon...I have so much cramming to do in the next couple of days just to get my final projects done and start studying for finals! Ugh...this is the worst time of the academic year! I wish I could just sit back and enjoy the holiday season! It has been so cold lately...had some snow flurries the last couple of days...maybe there is hope for a white Christmas this year! :) I will be heading home on December 18th and I can't wait! I am getting ready to go to my Italian lab...hopefully we will get out early I have so much to do! Hope every one makes it through their last weeks of work and school! Good Luck! Gotta go to lab...Ciao!

Well I had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! I am back in Columbia now...I wish I was still at home. I miss home already! Just three more weeks and I will be home again for an entire month for Christmas! YAY! We spent the entire day on Wednesday putting up all of our Christmas decorations! That is always fun...but very time consuming. Thanksgiving dinner was beautiful. We had dinner at my Aunt Susan's house and she set up a lovely table that fit our whole family! After dinner we all played BINGO, like we do every year, for prizes! It was so much fun! The day after Thanksgiving we have a wonderful tradition! All the girls go antique shopping and all the men go shoot guns on some farm! Fun! Antique shopping was great. We went into this wool shop and I bought a yard of wool fabric to make a purse with! When we got back home for the evening Zack and Steven came over and we decorated our main Christmas tree! I love all of our traditions and parties during the holiday season. I am sad that I am going to miss two of the Christmas parties because I will still be here in Columbia studying for finals! I hope my finals go well! :( We shall see! These three weeks are going to be very stressful...I hope I make it through! Well I should probably do more homework before I go to sleep! Happy Holidays everyone!

I am finally home for Thanksgiving break! I love being home! I don't want to go back to Columbia this Sunday! :( Wednesday we spent the entire day putting up all of our Christmas decorations. We go all out on the holidays, our house totally transforms. I love it! Last night my sister Laura's boyfriend, Zack came over along with my boyfriend Steven and we decorated our main Christmas tree! It was fun! This morning my family and I watched the Thanksgiving parade and the dog show like every year. We are getting ready to go to our family Thanksgiving feast at my aunt's house. Well I probably should start getting ready! I hope everyone has a FABULOUS Thanksgiving Day!!!

AH I am stressed! I have been so busy with homework, studying for tests, and writing papers I haven't had any time to do what I want to do! I started the fourth book of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn. I really haven't gotten very far, because I don't have any time...Maybe I should hold off on the book until I can relax...like during Christmas break! I can't wait to go home this Friday! I have a huge paper to write during my week long break at home, but I am excited to be home for a week just the same! Laura and I are seeing the Twilight movie on Friday...at least I have Friday to look forward to! That is what is pulling me through this week..I just keep thinking I will be heading home this Friday...man and it is only Monday! BLAH! I think I have a cold now...I haven't been feeling very good! Well I better get back on the books...I have a lot to do! I hope everyone has a lovely week...hopefully it will be way more relaxing than mine! CIAO!

School is starting to get stressful! I can't wait until I get to go home for Thanksgiving break! The other day I went to the Artisan, it is a coffee house downtown, and I saw my Italian teacher there. She was up on stage with a folk band playing the fiddle. Now I know why she knows so much about music. She talks about it a lot in class. I had a pretty good weekend, but a lot of homework. I have so much to do before Thanksgiving break. Laura and I reserved tickets for the movie Twilight! It comes out in theaters on the day I come home for break! I am super excited to see it! I have been reading the third book, Eclipse, and I am more than halfway through. I really need to start on some projects that are due before I leave to go home for a whole week. I need to not procrastinate which is hard when I have a good book to read. I can do it!

I just love fall. It is really pretty on campus right now with all the leaves changing colors and falling from the trees. This weekend my friends and I are planning on playing in the leaves...nothing better than raking up a leaf pile and jumping in it! Today I came across a beautiful piano piece, it wasn't until after I listened to the whole thing that I realized that it was "Bella's Lullaby" from the Twilight sound track! I am so excited for the movie now. I am on the third book in the series, Eclipse! They are so addicting! I have been good about only reading when I am able and have actually been very productive. I finished most of my Social Problems journals that are due next Wednesday and have been working on and studying Italian like crazy! It is hard to keep myself from reading though! Anyways...it gets dark so early now. When I get out of my Italian lab at 5:20pm it is already mostly dark outside! It is hard to adjust, I keep thinking it is later than it actually is! Well I don't really have anymore to say. I posted "Bella's Lullaby" on my blog. Hope you enjoy! Ciao i miei amici!

Halloween was fabulous! The Thursday before Halloween Steve and I went to our friend Sheldon's party. Sheldon dressed up like Edward Scissor Hands! Friday I was able to be home and see my family! I dressed up as a vampire...I was a little angry because I bought vampire teeth that were suppose to stick on and I couldn't get them to work. So instead I just put a bite mark on my neck and wore some obnoxious fake eyelashes! It was fun though. My sister Laura dressed up as a peacock! She made the costume all by herself. She is so artistic. My boyfriend, Steven dressed up as a greaser along with my brother and my sister's boyfriend. They did a great job...and looked really good! My next door neighbor Megan came and she was the Spartan queen from the movie 300! I love seeing my family! I had an AWESOME weekend!

Halloween is tomorrow! I get to leave Columbia at about 10:15am! My dad is picking me up early since my afternoon classes are cancelled! YAY! Steven doesn't get out of class until 4pm..but he will be heading to my house for our Halloween party as soon as he possibly can! It is going to be so much fun! I love Halloween! School is going great...I am pretty sure I am making good grades so far. I finally signed up for my classes for next semester and finished making my schedule! I was able to get into the Normal Language Development class. I am really excited...this is a class I need in order to start the Masters program for Speech Pathology! Hopefully it will transfer to where ever I end up going to graduate school with out any problems! I am getting ready to go to my Italian LAB and later tonight Steven and I are going to our friends Halloween party for a little while! Should be a good time! :) Well I hope everyone has AWESOME plans for tomorrow night! Be safe and have a Happy Halloween! Ciao!

This past weekend was wonderful! I got to go back home and see my family! I felt bad that daddy came to pick me up and drove me back home! That is a lot of driving! I love my daddy so much for doing that for me! Friday night I visited with my grandparents and my aunt and little cousins! It was fun! On Saturday I went Halloween costume shopping with my sister Laura and my friend that lives down the street, Megan! It was so much fun. I got some really cool fake eyelashes and vampire fangs to wear! I can't wait for Halloween. When we got home from shopping we had a steak dinner and then watched a movie! Sunday we all carved pumpkins! It was so much fun! I loved being outside in my own yard and seeing all our neat Halloween decorations. I can't believe that Halloween is this Friday already! We are having our Halloween get together as usual. I am excited...I get to come home for that too! YAY! I need to go and read more of my book for school! Hope everyone has a fantastic week!

Today was a good day. I love that it is cold! Tomorrow is suppose to be yucky and rainy though. I went to Target today and bought some Reese's peanut butter cups, a jacket...I really needed one...and some brown boots! I felt really bad for buying the boots...they weren't cheap and I normally don't splurge like that. I do really like them though and I think I will get a lot of use out of them. I went to McDonalds with my friend Meghan today! I haven't seen her in a while and it was nice to get to hang out with her again! She went home last weekend so I didn't get to see her! I am glad she is my friend...she is awesome! I have had so much homework lately, I hope I can make it through the rest of this semester! I started my intro to communications science and disorders class. It is really interesting and I think I really want to pursue a career in speech pathology. That is my goal, if everything goes the way I plan. I am borrowing New Moon, the sequel to Twilight, from Meghan...I can't wait to start reading it, but I have to read a book for a class first. So hard to read the boring school book knowing that New Moon is waiting for me! :) I hope everyone has a good week, despite the rain that is to come. Au revoir.

Today was a good day! My grandparents drove in from St. Louis to visit me and take me to lunch. It was nice to see them! I am so glad they came to visit. I was able to show them my apartment and around campus. I love them so much! It was really nice of them to drive all the way out here just for one afternoon! Classes are going well...I am glad it is the weekend. I am excited to read more of Twilight...I am about halfway finished...don't want it to be over so soon...it is just so good! I am glad the weather has been colder. It truly feels like fall now with the leaves changing colors. Campus looks really pretty this time of year. I am excited for Halloween, I get to see my family and my house with all the Halloween decorations. Well I hope everyone has a great weekend! Ciao!

quarto entrata
I had a pretty good day today...I didn't mind the rain really at all. Infact I rather enjoyed it. The other day I went on a nature trail near my apartment complex with my friend Meghan. We found many cool places just to sit and relax. When walking down a trail we came face to face with two deer. It was so magical, they even started walking towards us. They were so cute! As the sun began to set we realized that we were a little lost and ended up having to walk about 3 miles back the parking lot. We made it back to her car just before nightfall so that was good...phew! We had a lot of fun though! Anyways, today I found out I received an A on my Italian exam! That made me happy! I am reading this book called "Twilight" and it is really good so far...I can't seem to put it down! I miss home, but I will be home next weekend...I can do this...I am strong.

Number Three
Today was a good day. I had a very interesting experience. My boyfriend, Steven, had to see something related to music in the Columbia area for a grade in one of his classes. We found, what we thought would be a performance at a Presbyterian church about 10 minutes away. We got there and they welcomed us in. They handed us some hymnals and asked us what parts we sang. We were both really confused, but we told them and sure enough we were asked to sit according to our voice range! Then we sight read and sang music for about an hour or so with the older people of the church. It was AWESOME! They were really good and it was so fun to be able to sing again with a group and listen to the harmonies! They told us that if we ever wanted to come back and just sing with them we could. They never perform for anyone except themselves, they just love music so much. It was really quite fun! :)

Numero Uno
Hey everyone,
I am having a great time at Mizzou! My boyfriend Steve is acting in a musical this entire week. I have already seen it twice! The musical is "How to Succeed in Business without really trying" He does a really good job! I am proud of him! Anyways...as far as classes go I am pretty sure I am doing pretty good in all of them except one. My Social Problems class is so confusing...the teacher is really unorganized, so I have no idea how I am doing in that class! In all I am doing well. I haven't been home for the past two weekends, and probably won't come home for the next one either! I miss my family, but I will see them soon! At least I will be home for Halloween!
