Fall Cheer

Over the weekend I decided to get some fall decorations for my living room. Karlee went with me and we each bought some mums and pumpkins for our porches and some fall decorations for inside. We had fun picking them out! After shopping we came back to my place and Karlee stayed and helped me decorate! It was so much fun! When we were all finished bringing fall cheer into my living room we cooked a really nice dinner together! We had pasta with homemade white sauce, brown sugar carrots, and some garlic bread! It was yummy!

After dinner Karlee decided that my Poilu creatures needed to have an adventure. She wouldn't let me come out into the living room because she was taking pictures of them in all different areas of my apartment! LOL :) It was so hilarious! We couldn't stop laughing!

Then we decided we should rent the movie Coraline because Karlee has never seen it. We went out to Blockbuster and got it in 3D along with some 3D glasses! It was so scary in 3D! Everything pops out at you! :)

Well back to school work for the week! Hope everyone has a good work/school week!

Campus Adventure

Last night Karlee and I went on an epic adventure! :) First we went to Memorial Union because they were giving out free Shakespeare's pizza! It was quite an experience! LOL! We then decided we wanted to take Punch for a walk around campus! It was so nice out last night! We saw some night hawks flying around Jesse Hall catching bugs! They were amazing to watch! Karlee and I sat on the Columns facing Jesse and just watched the night hawks fly around the top along with a few bats! Off in the distance we could hear the jazz piano player at the Roots and Blues Festival downtown. It was neat! We also walked around the festival for a while and smelled all the different BBQ and listened to all the different kinds of music! It was a great night! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! :)

Lots to do...

School is going great! I really enjoy all my classes. I already had to write one of many papers for my human cognition capstone class. The work is really starting to pile up! So for my cross culture psychology class I am suppose to interview a person who lived in a different country the first 18 years of their life. I chose to interview my former Italian teacher. She is a very interesting women and has lived in many different countries including Italy of course. I am scheduled to meet with her for coffee on Wednesday at 2pm. I am excited!

Last night Steven's friend Kalem came to visit and see a comedy show with Steve and Chad. After the comedy show I met up with them at Chad's house to play Rock Band! It was fun. When we got back to the apartments Kalem gave Steve and I a surprise! It was a balloon penguin that a lady he works with made! It is so cute! :) Well I don't have much more to say! I just got finished cleaning the apartment and get ready to head to Walgreens to get a new nail art pen! :) Hope everyone has a good weekend!
