Trip to Columbia and Nat's 21st Birthday

Steven and I took a day trip to Columbia to visit all of our old favorite places. We were able to check out the new student center. It is so awesome I wish it could have been finished before I graduated. We had a lot of fun reminiscing and driving by our old apartments.



Natalie celebrated her 21st birthday Wednesday night up at the Lumiere casino on The Landing. It was a crazy time and we had a lot of fun.

3rd Annual Christmas Joy

Well last night the Hahns and Greens reunited for their 3rd Annual Christmas/Chocolate Making Party! They keep getting crazier and crazier every year! We had so much fun eating Christmas cookies, drinking hot chocolate and making chocolate. I am so glad we have made this a tradition. It is so nice to all get together for some holiday cheer!

I Need a Break...

I can't wait for school to be over for the semester! I need a break from homework and studying. This is the first year I will be working throughout my Christmas break. It is a little sad to me because no one else in my family will be working for like two weeks or more. Work isn't too bad I guess. I still really enjoy working with the babies. I hope everyone else is enjoying the holiday season.

A Long Semester...

It has been a long semester. School and work occupies most of my time now. I still really enjoy my job especially now that I am working with the infants. Steve has been in LA since October 3rd. It has been hard but I am keeping myself busy. Before he left we planned a fun filled day. We went out to breakfast and then to sculpture park. It was nice. I miss him lots!



I got a new little friend to keep me company. She is a cute little hamster named Pumpkin. I have become very OCD about the cleanliness of her cage. I am sure she is the healthiest hamster EVER! I love her so much! I still hang out with my friends from work. Having girls nights with them has helped keep my mind off of missing Steve too much.



I finally found out that he is able to come home for Thanksgiving. He is flying in today and gets to stay the whole week. I am really excited to see him tonight! I feel like it has been forever, but really it has only been about 2 months.

Halloween was splendid. I wish Steven could have been in town for it though. I had some of my work friends over for Halloween. It was lots of fun! I always love dressing up for Halloween. This year I was Alice in Wonderland. Steven did send me some beautiful flowers for Halloween along with some Chocolate covered strawberries!







Well I am looking forward for the Thanksgiving holiday. I get Thursday and Friday off of work. I need a four day weekend that's for sure! Hope everyone is having a fabulous week. I know I am ;)

School has Begun

Summer was fun but now it is back to school! Along with school this year I am keeping my job at Creative Expressions! I really do love my job and the people I work with! We recently had a Staff Development day and it was a Hawaiian theme! It was lots of fun! I do a lot with the girls from work. Recently we organized a fundraiser for a little boy in my friend's 2 year old class who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. We got together and made orange and green ribbons for Leukemia Awareness and are giving them away to people who donate a dollar or more. We have collected lots of money so far! :)




Also this past week was Steven's birthday. I gave Steven a big bucket of snacks, drinks and other goodies for his road trip to LA in a few weeks. I also took him out to dinner. We went to Fuji Sushi! It was super yummy!



Other than that I have just been enjoying the nice weather when I am not in work or doing homework. I hope everyone has had a great summer and are easily getting back into the busy school/work lifestyle!

A Lot Has Happened

So I haven't updated my blog in forever! A lot has happened! My family and I went on our vacation to Destin, Florida! It was beautiful! We were all a little worried that we would have to cancel due to the recent oil spill, but the beaches were very clean! No problems there at all!

So my work friends and I have been hanging out a lot more! It is fun, we have so many funny stories to tell each other about work! Lots of gossip! We all have a great time together!

Girls Night Out



This past weekend I stayed the night at Steve's grandparent's lake house with his whole family. We attended a surprise 50th Anniversary party for Steve's grandparents. It was really fun!

Other than that I have been pretty busy during the week working at the daycare! I really do love my job so that is definitely a plus! Hope everyone is enjoying the last few weeks of summer!

Sting Rays

Today we went to the St. Louis Zoo! It was so much fun and we even got to pet sting rays! They are really cute and soft! :)

Fourth of July Weekend

Laura, Jordan, Natalie, Megan, Jessica, Joey and I all went to the Lake of the Ozarks for the Fourth of July weekend! We had a BLAST! I always forget how much I love being at the lake! We swam, went boating, drank, relaxed and soaked up a lot of vitamin D!





We got back home on Sunday evening. We had Mammy and Pappy over to eat and watch some fireworks! So much fun!

Back to work tomorrow! I hope everyone else had an AWESOME weekend!

Weekend of Fun

This past weekend was so busy! Friday night we had Megan's graduation party! Just like the other graduation parties at the Hahn's, it was a night to remember! We had so much fun! Great food, live band, and lots to drink! :)






Then Saturday we had Rose and Anthony's birthday party! It is always so much fun to have the whole family together!



After the birthday party I headed over to Steve's house since he was in town. We had a nice time swimming and relaxing in the pool!

Karaoke Night at Detour Bar & Grill

Last night Laura, Jordan, Natalie, Jessica, Megan, Jessica's friend Jenny and I all went and sang karaoke last night at Detour Bar. It was so much fun. Mammy, Pappy, and my mom all came to watch! The girls and Jordan wanna thank Mammy and Pappy for the chips and salsa! Also big thanks to Mommy for buying the drinks! :) It was a great night filled with entertainment!
