Visiting Columbia

I visited Columbia this past weekend. I had so much fun seeing Karlee and Steve. Kelsey and Kerry even came for a few days. We had a great time eating snacks and having drinks out on Karlee's back porch. The next morning Kerry cooked us a delicious breakfast! It was fun!



Steve was a groomsmen in Matt and Val's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and we had so much fun.




I also bought an iPod touch over the weekend with some of my graduation money. I absolutely love it!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a Memorial Day BBQ on Sunday afternoon! We had Mammy and Pappy over along with Zack and Steven. Since Kelsey is home for good now her and Sean stopped by! It was nice to see her and Sean again. We had a lot of laughs. I hope everyone else is having a relaxing Memorial Day weekend too!

My 22nd Birthday and Mizzou Graduation 2010

This past weekend I celebrated my birthday and my graduation from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I cannot believe that I am a college graduate and now have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology! It is crazy! I had a really good weekend. Mommy, Jordan, and Mammy came in town for the occasion. It was fun hanging out in my apartment eating snacks and watching movies.





For my birthday Steven took me out to dinner and a shopping spree at one of my favorite stores Rue 21! I got a cute little owl face ring, a pretty flower headband, 2 shirts, and a sundress. I had a great birthday!

Puppy Visit

So my friend Bridget, whom I met through Karlee, just got a new puppy! He is a black lab and great dane mix. His name is Carbon! Bridget, Karlee, and Carbon came over to visit Margaret and me last night! We had lots of fun playing with baby Carbon! He is only 4months old! I can't wait until I can get a puppy dog some day! They are so much fun! :)

Cinqo de Mayo

Cinqo de Mayo was on our last day of classes! I can't believe I will never attend another class on Mizzou campus! So weird! Margaret and I had a very relaxing last day of school! After our classes we went and laid out by the pool! When we got back to our apartment, Margaret made a homemade pizza! It was so yummy! We had a nice relaxing evening!

A Free Weekend

The Silverscreen Film Festival was this weekend! Steve directed a film for it. For those of you who do not know what the Silverscreen Film Festival is, it was established in 2008 and originally featured students from the University of Missouri and Stephens College. In 2009, without any additional marketing, Silverscreen expanded to four institutions in Missouri – University of Missouri, Stephens College, William Woods University and Truman State University. This year there were thirteen films entries. On Friday night they had a screening of all thirteen films. It was so much fun to see all the other people's film ideas. On top of that, everything there was free! They had free popcorn, raffle tickets and ice cream! I won a free t-shirt from the raffle drawing! :) Steven's film won "Best Drama" and he received a gift bag of all sorts of free stuff! Right next door to the film festival was a free activity called "Beading Bonanza"! They had free drinks, Shakespeare's Pizza, and tables of free supplies to make any type of jewelry you wanted! It was so neat! Margaret and I each made a bracelet! It was fun!




Saturday during the day Karlee, Margaret and I decided to take a walk in a park! The weather was so nice, and not too hot! We had a great time! The trails were so pretty with the fresh green leaves of spring and a ton of wild flowers!
