Cardinal Rescue

A little boy cardinal flew into our basement sliding glass door today. So sad when they do that. I picked him up and brought him in to warm up in a quiet place so he could get over his shock. He sat on my fingers and hopped around on my shoulders. He couldn't fly very well but he could hope around just fine and flutter up to low bushes. I let him go in the bushes surrounding the bird bath and sprinkled some seed on the ground for him. I hope he survives.

He enjoyed the indoor plants.

Valentine's Day Weekend

My work had another Staff Development day this past Friday. Since it was so close to Valentine's Day we decided to have a Valentine's Day theme! We all wore red, pink, white or purple and had pretty heart decorations for our table. It was fun!

For Valentine's Day Steve sent me some gifts in the mail. I got a huge box of Hot Fries (12 bags) one of my favorit
e snacks, two bags of Ghirardelli chocolates, and a beautiful bouquet of tulips and irises.

The Melting Pot

Steven and I celebrated our 4 Year Anniversary early this year since he had to fly back to LA. Once again we went out to The Melting Pot. It is such a fun place with super good food! We always have a great time when we go.

Well Steven is back in LA now and school starts back up this Monday. I am so not ready to be busy and stressed out yet...I wish I had at least one more week to relax. Oh well.

Happy New Year everyone!

Trip to Columbia and Nat's 21st Birthday

Steven and I took a day trip to Columbia to visit all of our old favorite places. We were able to check out the new student center. It is so awesome I wish it could have been finished before I graduated. We had a lot of fun reminiscing and driving by our old apartments.

Natalie celebrated her 21st birthday Wednesday night
up at the Lumiere casino on The Landing. It was a crazy time and we had a lot of fun.
