So I came out of my room just to take a short break from studying for my Cognitive Neuroscience quiz and when I looked out my window there were about 15 starlings at my feeder. It was so crazy and the poor little sparrows were all screaming with anger. The starlings were clumsy and pushing the sparrows off of the feeder and the suet. They were all very loud! It was a very exciting site to see! I always forget how big starlings actually are! Another bird to add to my list of birds I have seen at my feeder.

Oh and also my nuthatch and male and female cardinals have come back as well! So nice to see the birds enjoying themselves out there!
I had a very shocking and sad night tonight. My poor little aqua frog Luna died at about 7:00pm tonight. I hope it was nothing I did wrong. I noticed earlier that she was seeming a little sluggish and perhaps she wasn't getting to the food fast enough before Artemis ate it all. I only hope that she did not suffer and that she had a happy life with me while she was still living. Steve and I buried her out underneath a tree tonight. I hope that she rests in peace. She will be missed a lot. I love you little Luna.
So I got back to my apartment in Columbia yesterday afternoon! Getting everything ready for school to start back up! Karlee came over to see my frogs and then we went grocery shopping together! A little later that day I picked up Margaret from the bus station! It is nice having her around again! I have missed her over break! Margaret and I went over to Karlee's new place to hang out and watch the Golden Globes! It was a fun first night back in town!
So Steven will be missing the first week of school. He is in Kansas for an acting competition! I hope he does well! I am proud of him, but I do miss him a little! He will be back this coming Sunday though! I wish him the best of luck!
Also, I discovered a Nuthatch on my suet yesterday! So cute! I was so worried all the birds would be gone since I haven't been around for an entire month, but they were all still around. There was still a little suet left that they must have been snacking on! As soon as I walked out with a bag of seed to fill up the feeder, they all surrounded me chirping extremely loud! Silly birds!
Well I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Last night Steve and I went out to the Melting Pot to celebrate our 3 year anniversary! I can't believe it has been three years! We have gone there for our anniversary the last two years as well! It is such a fun place and the food is really good! I had such a great time! He is a wonderful boyfriend! I love him a lot! :)
Welcome my African Dwarf Aqua Frogs to the family! Their names are Artemis and Luna! They are so cute! They are really fun to watch swim around. Their little bodies look so cute! I love them so much! Hope everyone has had a good weekend!
