So a few days ago I bought some hemp in a variety of colors to make jewelry! It is so much fun and very soothing to make all the different styles of bracelets and anklets! I need something to keep me relaxed right now! I am so stressed out with everything I have to do as the school year comes to an end. I am currently working on an 8-10 page final draft of a research paper that is due on Monday, I have an oral exam in Italian on Tuesday, and two tests on Wednesday! Ah! I will have a four day weekend to study for my two finals on Monday the 11th though! So that will be good AND I will be out before my 21st birthday!
Today Jordan, my brother, was here in Columbia to watch some of his friends in the State Music Competition. Karlee, Steve, Margaret, and I all met up with him on campus and hung out with him! We took a walk around campus and it was really nice outside! It was great to get away from my studies for a while!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend! Summer will be here soon! Just have to get through a few more days! Can I make it? ;)
I had a GREAT weekend. My mom and my Aunt Kerry, Karlee's mom, came here to Columbia on Friday afternoon. They picked Karlee and I up and brought us to Karlee and Kerry's condo at the Lake of the Ozarks. It was so much fun! We watched "Mommy Dearest" together and had snacks and wine. The next day we went to On The Rise for breakfast. My mom and I split Eggs Benedict and some beignets. They were so good! Later that day we went on a boat ride! It was nice, I love boating! When we came back to the condo we had grilled salmon for dinner! Very yummy! I loved spending time with my mom, aunt and cousin. My mom drove me back to Columbia and we had lunch at the Heidelberg. It was my mom's first time eating there! After lunch we went to check out the Earth Day festival. This was the one that was suppose to happen last weekend but was postponed because of the rain. It was very interesting. We got some home-made glass bead necklaces. There were tons of home-made things there, clothes, jewelry, hats, purses, you name it! It was AWESOME! My mom also got to meet my Italian teacher, she was working one of the stands. What a nice relaxing weekend before my last two weeks of school and finals! Can't wait for summer!

I was able to make it home for Easter this past weekend. Karlee and I rode home together! We had the Easter get together at my house this year! Everyone came over around 1pm and didn't leave until about 9pm! My family sure does know how to party! It was really fun though! It was nice getting to see my cousin Kelsey...she was in town from Philadelphia where she figure skates. We all had a really good time! We ate a lot of candy and chocolate and had a lot of laughs! I love my family! In the picture, from left to right...my sister Laura, my cousins Kelsey and Karlee, me, and my cousin Natalie.
Well I am back in Columbia now...just four more weeks of school left and then summer is here! I can't wait! I found out that both of my finals are on Monday, May 11th...so I will be finished with school by May 12th...my 21st birthday! YAY! I am happy about that! Well I have to go and get a few things finished before I got to bed! I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter weekend too!
I just finished a 6 page rough draft of my paper for my Normal Language Development class. I am so glad that I got that out of the way. I was super worried and totally stressing out over getting it finished in time. School is going well, I am ready for summer though. I just recently find out that I am only taking two finals during finals week and they are both on Monday May 11th! This means that I will be finished with school in time to celebrate my 21st birthday! Almost there...only a few more weeks!
