#41- Adventures
The past two days my family and I have been out and about doing awesome, fun, things. My dad's birthday was Friday the 17th. On Thursday night we went out to eat and then to the City Garden! It was so pretty with all the exhibits lit up! The weather was just perfect!
Today we went to Elephant Rock State Park! We have not been in so long! It was so much fun! We packed a picnic lunch and climbed many huge rocks! My mom almost had a heart attack with all of us jumping back and forth across the rocks! But it was so awesome and the weather was amazing! On the way there we stopped at many antique shops and bought some old fashioned candy and peanut butter fudge! I had a great couple of days! I think my dad had an awesome birthday!

The 40th Blog- Independence Day
I had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend! Friday night we had a girls night with Jennifer, Rose, and the Hahn girls. It was so much fun. We had cheese and wine and lots of other good things to eat like ice cream and snow cones! Rose was having a blast with all of us older girls. She never wanted to leave! :)
Saturday night we had the whole family over for the Fourth of July! We had lots of food to eat and lots of fireworks to watch! Karlee came in town for the party! It was so nice to get to see her last night! We had lots of fun even though it was a little wet and rainy!
After the rain Karlee, Rose, and I walked around our yard and found all the tree frogs that were making so much noise. Rose also had fun catching all the toads that were swimming around in our pond. Every time she would pick one up out of the pond she would say, " I love you" and then let it jump back in! She is so cute!
Well back to work for the week. On Friday I have a dentist appointment and then I am off to Columbia to see Steven in his play and visit with Karlee! It will be fun! Hope everyone had a wonderful Independence Day!

39
Hey sorry it has been a while! Summer is finally here and I have been super busy working at the daycare and trying to fit in everything I want to do while I am home from Columbia! Good news...Laura and Jordan each got a car a few weeks back so I will finally get to bring my car to Columbia with me! It will be nice not to have to rely on people for rides! I can just come and go as I please! YAY!
I am saving lots of money this summer for the school year! I don't really want classes to start but I do miss my roommate Margaret a lot. I am also excited to meet my new roommate! We have been chatting a lot on facebook and she seems super nice! I honestly can't wait to meet her!
I miss my cousin Karlee too! She had to stay in Columbia because she has a job there as a vet tech and she is also taking summer classes! I went from seeing her a few times a week to hardly at all! It will be nice to start seeing her more often again! :)
I miss Steve a lot this summer. He has a big part in a play held by Mizzou's theater this summer! He is getting paid to act which is really AWESOME for him! He has been working really hard and has rehearsals every night. He isn't able to come home very often! But I try and make it out to Columbia every once in a while to visit!
Laura and Zack came with me when I drove to Columbia to visit Steve! We had a lot of fun! We hung out at my apartment, walked around downtown, went out to eat, and walked around campus! It was a good time!
I don't have much more to say! I have just been trying to make the most of my summer at home with my family! I have been working a lot but still find time to enjoy my time at home!
I am very happy!

Thirty 8
So I am finally out of school for the summer! I have been pretty busy with work. I work at Creative Expressions Learning Center. It is a daycare and I work in the classroom with the toddlers! I really like it there! The past couple of free days I had off of work I have been spending them with Steven because he leaves to go back to Columbia for the summer today. He has a payed acting job at the Mizzou theater for the summer. I am proud of him and very excited to see him in his show this July. This coming weekend Laura, Zack, and I are all traveling to Columbia to visit Steve and my cousin Karlee! It is going to be fun! Ryan and Natalie might meet up with us there on Saturday! :) Last night we went to a BBQ at my grandparents house! It was so much fun! I haven't seen them or my aunt Jennifer and two little cousins in a long time! It was so nice to get to see them!
Today Jessica, Natalie, Megan, Jordan and I all went to Villa Antonia Winery! It was so much fun! There was live music and the guy sang a lot of Johnny Cash songs. He sounded just like him! Jess and I split two bottles of wine! :) We all took a walk around the lake and through the vineyards! It was such a gorgeous day for it!
Oh and today we saw a little stray cat, that we call Itty Bitty Kitty, catch a chipmunk and walk away with it in her mouth. Laura and I went out and made her drop it. The chipmunk sat up in a tree for a very long time. The poor thing was in shock!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I know I did!
P.S. Here are some pictures that Natalie, Laura and I took on one of our first days of summer vacation. We tried to make them look like they were set in the 40's!

Trenta Sette! My 21st Birthday!
On May 12th, I turned 21 years old! Wow! I can't believe it! I had my only two finals on Monday, May 11th so I was completely finished with school for my birthday! On my birthday Karlee and I went out to eat down town for lunch and went shopping at a few vintage shops. I found a pair of flats for a dollar. After shopping Karlee and I came back to my apartment and met up with Margaret and her boyfriend Scott to go see the biggest tree ever! When we were out looking at the big tree we stopped at Lucy's bar and bought some fried pickles and mushrooms! They were so good! When we got back home, we picked up Steven and all went out to eat at Addisons, down town for dinner! I ordered a glass of wine. :) When the waitress carded me, she realized that it was my birthday and so I got to pick any of the desserts off of their menu for free! It was so much fun!
On Wednesday, May 13th, my dad came and picked me up from Columbia to bring me home for the summer! I am so happy that summer is finally here! Steven will be home for a few weeks before he starts his summer theater job back in Columbia. But I will still have my apartment so I will be able to drive to Columbia and visit him for a weekend or two so that will be good! Steven ordered my birthday present online. I am excited to see what it is...it hasn't come yet! On Friday my mom took me shopping for my birthday and out to breakfast! I got some new clothes! I needed some new summer clothes! I also got my hair cut up to about my shoulders! I love it thought! It is so much easier to style! I had a great birthday!
Tonight my dad is cooking us a steak dinner and Steven and Zack are going to come and eat with us! I went out today and bought a bottle of wine for Laura and I to share with dinner! :) My first store purchase! After dinner Natalie Hahn and her boyfriend Ryan are coming up and we are all gunna hang out! Should be a good time! I am excited! I am glad I was able to have a few days off before I start my work back up at the daycare! Hope everybody else is getting ready to have a great summer! Tootles!

Blog 36- last week in CoMo
Hey everyone,
So last night our Italian class got together for dinner at a restaurant called The Rome. We had such a good time. My four friends and I all got together before the dinner and put a card together for our teacher thanking her for being such an awesome teacher! We all gave it to her at dinner and she was so touched! She loved it! It was so nice just to relax and chat with everyone! My friend Jen and I split some Italian bread pudding and it was so yummy! After that my friends and I took a walk downtown! It was fun!
After the dinner Steve and I went to our friend Val's 21st birthday party! It was themed and you were suppose to dress like a teacher( that is her major). I just wore what I had on for the dinner, but Steve dressed up as one of his well-known theater teachers. Most of the people there were theater people and they got a kick out of Steve's costume! I met Steve's friend John and his girlfriend Sarah! They were really nice! Sarah talked me into coming out and playing football with the guys after the party! I was a little nervous since I don't really know how to play football, but it turned out to be really fun! We didn't play tackle, just touch, so it wasn't as scary! :) I hope everyone has a good weekend! I only have two more tests and I am finished with school for the summer! I can't wait!
P.S. Do you remember cupcake dolls. They were so cute and I remember they smelled so good. I was just thinking about them because I smelled something that made me remember :)
